3D / perspective FOV visualization

I built a Google Maps API prototype that projects radar coverage into a 3D scene with rotation while keeping flat-road lane math authoritative.

I built an early Google Maps API prototype for seeing field of view in context without presenting it as a verified 3D road model.

The problem

A flat field-of-view diagram cannot communicate perspective, surrounding structures, or a real deployment viewpoint. A field team could benefit from seeing coverage in context.

What I explored

I implemented a Google Maps API prototype that projects radar field of view into a 3D scene and supports 3D rotation.

The flat-road lane math remains the authoritative numeric result; the prototype supplies perspective context without claiming an accurate 3D road model.

Where it stands

The Google Maps API version remains a prototype with deployment unverified. It is not a verified production deployment or an accurate 3D road model. An earlier packaged snapshot explored Mapillary and Leaflet as visual context.
