Real-road 2D mapping

I completed a WordPress-installable curved-road mapping version that places radar coverage against real road geometry.

I completed the curved-road mapping version while keeping its deployment boundary explicit.

StatusComplete / ready for use · deployment remains unverified

The problem

A flat, straight-road diagram cannot show where a sensor sits on a real roadway. Curves and lane geometry need to stay connected to geographic context.

What I built

I built the real-road plugin around Overpass-backed roadway and building context, cached WordPress REST responses, nearest-road snapping, road direction, and lane-aware geometry.

The package includes sensor positioning and road-based placement workflows for curves, lanes, sidewalks, shoulders, cycleways, markings, and building context. The snapped road remains authoritative for lane coverage.

Where it stands

The curved-road implementation is complete and ready for use. The WordPress package is installable source, but I have no verified public deployment record for it. Address search, gantry placement, and richer navigation remain future concepts.
